Booking policies and conditions

Every reservation is subject to the following terms and conditions.

Payment upon reservation

At the time of booking, the client must pay the full fees to secure their reservation. Only credit cards are accepted as a form of payment. Additionally, the specific location of your dome will be revealed on the day of your stay.

Cancellation and/or Modification

To cancel or modify your reservation, please contact us at info@stationboreale.com with the requested changes. You will receive an acknowledgment indicating the applicable fees and the cancellation confirmation number.

  • Cancellation without charge is permitted up to 14 days before the scheduled stay.
  • For cancellations between 13 days and 48 hours before the date of your reservation, a penalty fee equivalent to 50% of the total amount will be applied.
  • In case of cancellation within 48 hours, the full payment made by credit card will be retained as a penalty.
  • Changes to the stay date are permitted between 13 days and 48 hours before the scheduled arrival.

 

Arrival and Departure Time

Check-in for your accommodation begins at 3:00 p.m. However, early check-in starting at noon can be arranged, at an additional cost. Departures are scheduled for 10:30 a.m., but you also have the option to extend your departure until noon (extra cost).

In the event of a delay for your departure, a fee of $50 will be charged for every 15-minute interval past the scheduled departure time. If the delay exceeds one hour, Station Boréale reserves the right to charge for an additional night, at the current seasonal rate. Please note that no refunds or reductions will be provided for early departures.

Client Non-Appearance

In the event that the client fails to communicate a request to postpone their arrival date, the accommodation will be considered available starting at 10:00 a.m. on the day following the originally scheduled date. No refunds will be issued, and no changes to the reservation date will be permitted. Subsequently, the reservation will be cancelled.

Security Deposit

A pre-authorized amount of $250 will be charged to your credit card, and refunded to you after your stay. It is important to note that the security deposit cannot be refunded in cash under any circumstances. This amount will be released within eight days following the client’s departure, after any deduction for replaced items or additional charges that may be necessary. The security deposit may be retained partially or entirely in case of non-compliance with the conditions.

Number of Occupants

The number of occupants cannot exceed that indicated in the reservation confirmation.

Cleaning

The accommodations are delivered to clients in perfect condition. An inspection is carried out during cleaning at each departure. The premises must be returned clean and in good overall condition. The client is responsible for cleaning appliances, dishes, and arranging moved furniture and objects. If additional cleaning is necessary, a minimum amount of $75 will be retained from your security deposit.

Damage

Any damage or broken items must be reported by the client to Station Boréale, upon arrival. Failure to report this may result in total or partial retention of the security deposit.

Responsibility for Loss, Theft, and/or Damage

Station Boréale, Golf Siscoe, and Bistro Le Siscoe decline all responsibility for loss, theft, or damage to personal effects, whether in accommodations or common areas of the site.

Responsibility in Case of Accident

Clients and their guests acknowledge and agree to use the rental property at their own risk. They waive any legal action against Station Boréale, its employees, and any subcontractors for any accident, whether minor or fatal, or any injury suffered on the premises.
The “premises” include:

  • The interior of the rented accommodation and its private areas such as parking, dock, etc.
  • Common areas such as roads, walking trails, construction areas, etc.

 

If the client decides to pursue any of the parties mentioned above, they will be responsible for all legal fees associated with such action.

Pets

For safety and hygiene purposes, pets are not allowed inside the dome and on the premises. Non-compliance with this rule may result in immediate termination of the rental agreement, without any refund or compensation.

Smoking

Smoking is strictly prohibited in the domes. Failure to comply with this rule entitles Station Boréale to charge a penalty of $250 plus the cost of cleaning and disinfecting the accommodation. It is important to note that the client is fully responsible for the actions of the occupants. The cost of sanitation can be very high and exceed the amount of the security deposit.

Site Access

To maintain tranquility, it is important for clients to move with caution across the site. It is strictly forbidden to walk on the golf course grass without purchasing a right to play.

Gathering

Any small gathering must comply with the regulations in place at the time of your stay. Gatherings are permitted in designated areas such as the fireplace area, Bistro Le Siscoe, and the terrace. To maintain neighborhood tranquility, only clients are allowed in the dome area.

Flammable, Explosive Substance, or Dangerous Object

It is prohibited to use a heating system, cooking, or any other source of fuel that differs from what is already in place. For example, fuel for a fondue pot or a portable hot plate is strictly prohibited.

Wi-Fi Internet Access

Free Wi-Fi access is provided to clients inside the dome. The owner cannot be held responsible for:

  • Incompatibility or malfunction related to the hardware used by the client;
  • Disturbances or interruptions.

 

The client is fully responsible for any direct or indirect, material or immaterial damage caused to third parties due to their use of the Internet service.

Price Variation

Rates are variable and subject to change throughout the season. Some clients may have benefited from promotional offers, resulting in differing prices for the same period. Clients who paid the highest rate will not receive refunds for any difference compared to promotional prices. Station Boréale cannot be held liable for variations in costs between two stays booked for the same period.

Contract Language

This contract was redacted in French. In case of translation into one or more foreign languages, the French version will prevail in case of dispute.
